The publisher of the mobile application »ShUM-App« takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and according to the legal regulations. Please bear in mind that data transmission over the Internet can always be subject to security gaps.
Volume of application
With this privacy policy, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data which are collected and used by the responsible provider. The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG), the Telemediengesetz (TMG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Collection of general information
With each use of the mobile application, information is automatically collected by us resp. the App Service Provider. This information is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. Among other things, the following information is collected: Time of use, access to menu items and content as well as the position during use. The above data is transferred for scientific purposes to the Worms University of Applied Sciences, Erenburgerstraße 19, 67549 Worms, Germany. This transfer is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 f) GDPR and Art. 89 Para. 2 GPDR in conjunction with § 27 BDSG (new) on a legitimate interest to process the data for statistical purposes and for scientific research purposes. The data is used for anonymized statistical evaluations.
Integration of third-party services and content
Our offer sometimes includes contents, services and performances of other providers. The transmission of the IP address is necessary, so that these data can be called up and displayed in the user’s browser. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third party providers") thus perceive the IP address of the respective user. Even if we endeavor to use only third party providers who only need the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored by third party providers. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among others. If we are aware that the IP address is being stored, we will inform our users accordingly.
Data Economy
In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or prescribed by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected is no longer applicable, for example after ordering in the online shop, we will delete your data.
Use of social media plugins
This mobile application does not currently use social plugins.
Change to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to make changes at any time in order to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with the current legal requirements. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection declaration will then take effect the next time you visit our website.
